Do you remember if you understood the importance of time when you were a kid? I bet you won't. Because for most of us, it wasn't until our early adulthood, that we actually understood the difference a balanced and well managed timetable can make to our lives in achieving our goals.
Time is that priceless resource which everyone gets in equal amounts. 24 hours per day for everyone. Then why do some people become more successful in life than the others? Their secret lies in utilizing this resource intelligently and to its maximum effectiveness. To learn to use time effectively, the art of time management must be taught from early childhood.

· You should combine some activities so as to save time.
· Allot some time for relaxation and entertainment.
· You should have the required number of hours for sleeping and eat your food properly.
· You should know your body clock so as to identify the best time for you to work.
· Make it a habit to review your notes daily.
· You should inform your friends about your schedule in order to avoid distractions.
· Always is a taskmaster as you schedule your activities properly.
· Do not waste your time by worrying about something that you are expected to be doing, just do it.
· You should always keep things in their proper perspective.
· You can entrust a responsibility when it is proper.
· Relax and be calm always.
· Avoid being a perfectionist.
· You are supposed to question everything that is included in your schedule.
· Be a fast reader and be selective with what you read.
· Make use of a calendar.
If students have a lot of time at their disposal, ask them to spilt it into small pieces and plan activities for each small piece, rather than scheduling one large task for the whole empty time slot. This gives better control over time. Also, no one likes to work on the same thing for hours together. It’s always better to switch between tasks and keep the interest alive.
